Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable, resilient systems using Java and AWS.
- Execute software design, development, technical troubleshooting, testing, and operational stability activities.
- Use and critically validate enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools for coding, testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and automation.
- Create secure, high-quality production code and maintain algorithms integrated with appropriate systems.
- Produce or contribute to application architecture and design artifacts and ensure implementation meets design constraints.
- Analyze large and diverse datasets to create visualizations and reporting that support continuous software improvement.
- Identify data patterns and hidden problems to improve coding hygiene and system architecture.
- Contribute to software engineering communities of practice, emerging-technology events, and an inclusive team culture.
Requirements
- Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Proficiency in Java and understanding and use of AWS Cloud.
- Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using modern programming languages and database querying languages.
- Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and the ability to evaluate, validate, and refine generated outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, and security expectations, with the ability to guide peers on safe usage.
- Understanding of agile methodologies, CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
- Knowledge of software applications and technical processes in a discipline such as cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, or mobile.
- Familiarity with modern front-end technologies is preferred.
- Exposure to cloud technologies is preferred.
