Base Salary
$262k - $364k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define the technical roadmap and goals for the Gemini Enterprise metrics and analytics ecosystem.
- Architect scalable batch and streaming pipelines and resolve complex analytics and infrastructure challenges.
- Partner with Data Science, Product Management, and Engineering leaders on metrics requirements and project timelines.
- Mentor engineers and create opportunities for them to take on challenging technical responsibilities.
- Maintain production dataset health and enforce SLAs/SLOs, robust testing, privacy compliance, and data governance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 8 years of experience programming in Python, C++, Java, or Go.
- At least 5 years of experience with design and architecture and testing or launching software products.
- At least 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.
- Experience building, debugging, or supporting large-scale data pipelines and data processing systems.
- Preferred: Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Preferred: 8 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Preferred: experience leading engineering teams, mentoring talent, and architecting solutions for complex data challenges.
- Preferred: experience with cross-functional collaboration, executive-level technical recommendations, large-scale analytics platforms, data warehousing solutions, and distributed pipeline frameworks.
