Base Salary
$269k - $395k/yr
Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical lead for the Ads organization, providing architectural vision across the full ads stack.
- Drive alignment across Machine Learning, Infrastructure, Product, Data Science, and partner engineering teams.
- Mentor engineers to enhance technical excellence and systems thinking.
- Define patterns, principles, and standards for designing and operating large-scale distributed systems.
- Engage hands-on with complex distributed systems challenges and write impactful code.
Requirements
- B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- 12+ years of industry experience with a track record of leading large-scale platform initiatives.
- Proven ability to define and drive multi-year technical roadmaps.
- Deep expertise in distributed systems, including real-time serving infrastructure and high throughput data pipelines.
- Experience in ads infrastructure or adjacent domains.
- Ability to operate at a director level scope while remaining hands-on.
- Exceptional technical intuition and strong cross-functional influence skills.
