Base Salary
$207k - $275k/yr
Responsibilities
- Drive technical decision-making to accelerate delivery and mentor engineers.
- Champion event-driven architecture adoption across the organization.
- Identify and develop applications for the organization's data based on business needs.
- Design and implement managed solutions for data delivery to teams.
- Develop a scalable and reliable stream processing architecture.
- Improve performance, security, and reliability of data platforms.
- Establish guidelines for data access and storage for stakeholder teams.
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in software or infrastructure engineering.
- Strong understanding of data consistency and concurrency models.
- Familiarity with distributed NewSQL datastores and stream processing tools.
- Experience designing and operating data systems at scale.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes for event-driven and stateful orchestration.
- Proficiency in Linux, shell scripting, and Linux storage/networking stacks.
- Production-level proficiency in Go or Python.
- Ability to transform complex problems into achievable tasks.
