Base Salary
$131k - $285k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop, release, and operate large-scale web applications and backend services.
- Define backend architecture and technology stacks for product areas.
- Improve the performance, reliability, scalability, stability, and security of backend systems.
- Help transition the monolithic codebase to a microservice-based architecture.
- Collaborate cross-functionally and evaluate technical trade-offs to maximize business impact.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- At least 2 years of industry experience working with backend technology stacks.
- Proficiency using AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor across design, code generation, testing, monitoring, and release activities.
- Ability to analyze and improve the efficiency, scalability, and stability of system resources.
- Experience with service-oriented architecture, REST APIs, unit testing, and architectural design.
- Understanding of modern web stacks and HTTP/REST architecture.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, including technologies such as Postgres, Redis, Elasticsearch, and RabbitMQ.
