Base Salary
$207k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, lead, build, and launch critical cloud lakehouse solutions while managing safe rollouts across a global customer base.
- Develop expertise in schema-on-read pipelines, inline streaming enrichment, and search indexing architectures.
- Improve data storage tiers, indexing mechanisms, enrichment capabilities, and BigQuery and open-table lakehouse services processing exabytes of security telemetry.
- Implement simpler, more robust, and horizontally scalable architectures for SQL analytics, anomaly detection, and AI-driven security workloads.
- Use expertise in SIEM, security data lakes, or large-scale distributed data products to address customer pain points and propose architectures.
- Manage project priorities and collaborative workstreams, meet deliverables, identify risks, and communicate schedule adjustments.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 8 years of experience in software development.
- At least 5 years of experience testing and launching software products and 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.
- At least 5 years of experience designing, leading, and scaling large-scale software architectures, distributed systems, or high-throughput data processing platforms.
- Experience working with AI platforms or generative AI technologies, including generative AI agents.
- Preferred: Master's degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Preferred: 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
- Preferred: 3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization involving cross-functional or cross-business projects.
- Preferred: experience building large-scale distributed systems that process data at scale.
- Preferred: experience in enterprise security, specifically building SIEM products.
