Base Salary
$164k - $282k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead demanding cross-functional projects involving Inventory and Promise.
- Design and architect new microservices and machine learning pipelines.
- Build scalable, performant, fault-tolerant distributed systems and fulfillment technology.
- Decompose complex problems into straightforward technical solutions.
- Mentor engineers and support career development across the engineering community.
- Provide technical influence across multiple teams to improve productivity and effectiveness.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- 8+ years of software engineering experience, including Java.
- 8+ years of experience leading large-scale projects.
- Strong understanding of scalable backend architecture, distributed systems, and message-oriented architecture.
- Preferred experience with scalable distributed systems and machine learning algorithms.
- Preferred experience in e-commerce supply-chain systems involving Inventory and Promise.
- Preferred experience with AWS and high-scale production systems with fault tolerance, monitoring, and high availability.
