Base Salary
$16k - $282k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead technically demanding, cross-functional projects involving Inventory and Promise.
- Design and build architectures for new microservices and machine learning pipelines.
- Decompose complex technical problems into straightforward, scalable solutions.
- Apply expertise in performance, scalability, distributed architecture, message-oriented architecture, and engineering best practices.
- Mentor engineers and support career development across the technical community.
- Influence technical direction and productivity across multiple teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and/or master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- At least 8 years of software engineering experience, including Java.
- At least 8 years of experience leading large-scale projects.
- Strong understanding of scalable backend architecture, distributed systems, and message-oriented architecture.
- Preferred experience with scalable distributed systems, machine learning algorithms, e-commerce supply chain systems, AWS, high-scale production systems, fault tolerance, monitoring, and high-availability operations.
