Base Salary
$200k - $260k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and develop reliable, high-throughput, low-latency, and scalable server and networking systems.
- Build platform components that developers can use to create rich game experiences.
- Develop backend systems and services that are robust, efficient, and modular.
- Architect and integrate multiple sophisticated systems with external partners.
- Perform load testing, write unit tests, participate in code reviews, and troubleshoot live systems.
- Develop and execute long-term technical strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Drive improvements in engineering tools, technology, and processes.
- Collaborate with engineering, design, game design, production, business, art, and marketing teams.
- May lead or supervise junior team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- Three years of experience in the offered position as a Software Engineer, Software Developer, or related occupation.
- Academic training or experience with object-oriented programming languages, data structures, algorithms, and software system architecture.
- Academic training or experience with database design, querying, and indexing for SQL or NoSQL databases.
- Academic training or experience with web frameworks and cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
