Responsibilities
- Build infrastructure for running machine learning algorithms on big data.
- Optimize machine learning algorithms for latency-constrained execution.
- Parallelize machine learning algorithms for execution on a parallel compute grid.
- Develop data acquisition and cleaning software capable of handling hundreds of terabytes of data.
- Build data visualization tools for feature exploration and model verification.
- Integrate machine learning algorithms into trading strategy simulations to verify end-to-end performance improvements.
- Explore cutting-edge hardware, software, and methods and contribute to technological innovation.
- Collaborate with researchers and help shape technology direction and complexity-versus-performance trade-offs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- At least five years of software development experience with modern C++ and Python.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms.
- Ability to advise and collaborate with researchers on software engineering tools and practices.
- Clear programming, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Skills in numerical computing, machine learning, and visual intelligence.
- Demonstrated ability to produce algorithmic code in a fast-paced environment.
