Responsibilities
- Design and implement ML pipelines covering data ingestion, feature engineering, model training, evaluation, and production serving.
- Develop and optimize ranking, recommendation, classification, and natural language understanding models at scale.
- Build monitoring, alerting, dashboards, and logging capabilities to identify model regressions and maintain reliability.
- Design and analyze A/B experiments to validate model improvements and inform launch decisions.
- Architect scalable ML infrastructure and reusable components.
- Debug model quality issues through root cause analysis and defensive engineering.
- Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and software engineers on ML problem formulation and technical roadmaps.
- Define ML platform standards, coding practices, and testing frameworks.
- Mentor engineers and conduct technical interviews.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience developing and deploying machine learning models in production environments.
- Experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX and proficiency in Python for model development and data processing.
- Experience designing and optimizing large-scale ML systems for ranking, recommendations, classification, or natural language understanding.
- Experience with feature engineering, offline and online model evaluation, and A/B experimentation.
- Experience building reliable, monitored ML pipelines with dashboards, alerting, and logging.
- Preferred experience with feature stores, model registries, automated retraining pipelines, distributed training, and model optimization techniques such as quantization, distillation, or pruning.
- Preferred experience with responsible AI practices, cross-functional ML project leadership, AI workflow optimization, integrity, personalization, or real-time inference systems.
- Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development, including prompt/context engineering or agent orchestration, is preferred.
