Responsibilities
- Design and ship AI systems that plan, act, verify results, and recover from failures.
- Build foundations for agents operating across complex tools, workflows, and environments.
- Develop evaluation and observability capabilities to measure and improve agent behavior.
- Explore models and techniques while balancing capability, latency, cost, and reliability.
- Own projects from experimentation through architecture, production rollout, and measurable impact.
- Collaborate with engineers and teams across monday.com on broadly impactful problems.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience and a strong record of shipping production systems.
- Strong coding skills, architectural judgment, and experience building cloud-based applications.
- Hands-on experience building with LLMs, agents, or AI workflows beyond basic prompting.
- Curiosity about unfamiliar technology and discipline in testing whether approaches work.
- Clear communication, low ego, and a strong sense of ownership.
- Strong product judgment and ability to turn complex AI capabilities into simple, valuable experiences.
- Preferred experience with distributed systems, agent orchestration, evaluation frameworks, or production AI infrastructure.
