Responsibilities
- Build and develop advanced online insurance platforms and services.
- Develop proofs of concept, prototypes, and MVP features with a focus on rapid time to market.
- Research new technical capabilities and solutions for adoption.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in an international, fast-paced environment.
- Use Agile and Lean techniques to deliver key features quickly.
- Contribute to innovation and shared team goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology, or a Master's degree in Software Engineering.
- Experience with backend technologies including Java Spring Boot and Node.js.
- Experience with frontend technologies including React and Angular.
- Experience with MongoDB and AWS cloud services, including S3, SQS, SNS, API Gateway, and EC2.
- Understanding of microservices-based architecture, REST APIs, Postman, Jenkins, Linux, and Git-based source code workflows.
- Knowledge of Agile or Lean methodologies.
- Strong written and verbal communication, collaboration, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
- Oracle Certified Professional - Java SE 8 Programmer certification is listed.
