Base Salary
$99k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design adaptable AI architectures supporting multiple model providers, tools, modalities, and deployment modes.
- Build production-ready agentic AI applications integrating LLMs, embeddings, RAG, structured outputs, memory, and multimodal capabilities.
- Develop data pipelines for ingestion, cleaning, chunking, embedding, indexing, and continuous refresh of structured and unstructured data.
- Implement guardrails, safety filters, access controls, monitoring, evaluation workflows, and secure scalable deployments on AWS or equivalent cloud platforms.
- Apply automated testing, prompt and agent versioning, evaluation-driven development, and safe model-update rollout practices.
- Collaborate with clients to identify high-value AI opportunities and define solution requirements.
- Present technical solutions, lead workshops and prototyping sessions, and provide guidance on responsible AI, ethics, and compliance.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of software engineering experience.
- At least 2 years of professional experience in AI- or ML-focused roles.
- Experience with Python or another object-oriented programming language for AI or ML solution development.
- Experience designing and implementing production-grade generative or agentic AI applications.
- Experience with RAG architectures, evaluation methodologies, experimentation workflows, and asynchronous or event-driven programming patterns.
- Knowledge of AI data processing for text, audio, and multimodal data.
- TS/SCI clearance and eligibility for access to classified information are required.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Preferred experience includes MCP, A2A, LangGraph, agent frameworks, interoperability standards, multi-agent patterns, model or prompt tuning, reinforcement learning from human or AI feedback, AI evaluation and safety frameworks, external tool and API integration, computer-use patterns, React, build pipelines, automated testing, and code quality tooling.
- AWS ML, Data Engineer, or Solutions Architect Certification is preferred.
