Base Salary
$99k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement production-grade generative and agentic AI applications.
- Architect reusable systems supporting multiple model providers, tool ecosystems, modalities, and deployment modes.
- Integrate LLMs, embeddings, RAG pipelines, structured outputs, long-context capabilities, and memory mechanisms.
- Develop ingestion, cleaning, chunking, embedding, indexing, and refresh pipelines for structured and unstructured data.
- Deploy AI services securely and at scale on AWS or equivalent cloud platforms.
- Build evaluation, testing, prompt and agent versioning, monitoring, and safe model rollout workflows.
- Apply guardrails, safety filters, access controls, observability, and responsible AI practices.
- Collaborate with clients to identify AI opportunities and define solution requirements.
- Present technical solutions and lead workshops and prototyping sessions for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of software engineering experience.
- At least 2 years of professional AI- or ML-focused experience.
- Experience with Python or another object-oriented programming language for AI or ML solution development.
- Experience designing and implementing production-grade generative or agentic AI applications.
- Experience with RAG architectures, evaluation methodologies, experimentation workflows, and asynchronous or event-driven programming patterns.
- Knowledge of AI data processing involving text, audio, and multimodal data.
- TS/SCI clearance and eligibility to access classified information.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Preferred experience with MCP, A2A, LangGraph, agent frameworks, interoperability standards, and multi-agent patterns.
- Preferred experience with model fine-tuning, prompt tuning, domain adaptation, reinforcement learning from human or AI feedback, evaluation suites, safety testing, tool calling, computer use, enterprise integrations, React, build pipelines, automated testing, and code quality tooling.
- AWS Machine Learning, Data Engineer, or Solutions Architect Certification is preferred.
