Base Salary
$165k - $240k/yr
Responsibilities
- Scale data processing and storage systems from terabytes to petabytes and beyond
- Build and maintain bidirectional, real-time integrations with dozens of EHRs, scaling toward hundreds or thousands of integrations
- Improve core systems to support 100x growth in practices, patients, and developers
- Own cross-functional projects from technical design and decomposition through launch and rollout
- Partner with engineering leaders and product managers to prioritize and deliver ambitious engineering goals
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience focused on scalable backend systems and platforms
- Deep experience integrating and scaling storage systems, cloud-native services, and open source projects
- Experience with the Kubernetes ecosystem, AWS, and PostgreSQL
- Knowledge of common DevOps tools and practices
- Strong understanding of quality and security engineering principles
- Systems-level understanding of distributed systems, component interactions, customer journeys, and data flows
- Technical expertise, leadership skills, and a vision for high-quality software and engineering
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
