Base Salary
$160k - $241k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop reliable, high-performance onboard platforms that enable autonomy teams to integrate software and algorithms across self-driving platforms.
- Optimize autonomous-vehicle software performance through latency reduction, resource-efficiency work, and continuous performance analysis systems and tools.
- Build device drivers, inter-device protocols and pipelines, device runtime APIs, hardware-agnostic platforms, and testing and validation tooling.
- Collaborate with software, hardware, systems and safety teams, internal stakeholders, and external suppliers to integrate and validate new software and hardware.
- Resolve onboard software errors and performance issues and support next-generation hardware platform definition and evaluation.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of relevant industry experience in addition to a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.
- Strong C++ skills are required.
- Experience in one or more relevant areas, including distributed systems, computer architecture and operating systems, C++ and Python algorithms, concurrent and multi-processor environments, performance tuning, profiling and tracing, robotics software frameworks, robotics hardware, or x86, ARM, GPU, and FPGA compute platforms.
- Strong problem-solving and programming skills.
