Responsibilities
- Ensure technical consistency, portability, and architectural standards for AI solutions.
- Establish scalable, reliable, secure, and trusted data and technology foundations with data, IT, and business stakeholders.
- Advise on solution design and target architecture for AI applications.
- Draft technical specifications, track development progress, and oversee acceptance testing.
- Oversee the integration, management, and scaling of AI systems across teams and environments.
- Monitor infrastructure performance, manage costs, schedule model updates, and manage dependencies.
- Participate in or lead project governance and technical forums and document architectural decisions.
- Identify technical risks and propose mitigation strategies.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, IT architecture, or a closely related field.
- Meaningful hands-on exposure to AI tooling and platforms and a solid understanding of model serving, data pipelines, vector databases, and orchestration frameworks.
- Experience establishing architectural standards or reference architectures across multiple teams or projects.
- Experience reviewing, challenging, and approving technical decisions made by engineers or vendors.
- Experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP; familiarity with Azure and Databricks is preferred.
- Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and monitoring tooling.
- Understanding of data warehousing, data lakes, governance frameworks, quality assurance, and testing.
- Ability to communicate technical constraints and risks clearly to business and project stakeholders.
- Fluency in English.
- Experience in international, consulting, or scale-up environments is a plus.
