Responsibilities
- Design, develop, implement, maintain, and document scalable payment-domain services.
- Write technical design specifications and recommend architectural and detailed designs.
- Coach the team on software development best practices, troubleshooting, estimation, refactoring, and automated testing.
- Collaborate with engineering teams and the Product Owner on architecture, requirements, prioritization, user stories, estimates, and work plans.
- Participate in peer code reviews and maintain high standards of software quality.
- Analyze and resolve technical and application problems.
- Research and evaluate software products and create proofs of concept for new ideas and technologies.
Requirements
- Strong technical communication skills and vocabulary.
- Strong knowledge of system architecture, best practices, and design patterns.
- Strong experience with .NET Core and C#.
- Knowledge and experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
- Experience with distributed systems, microservices, SOA, and n-tier architectures.
- Strong knowledge of relational and non-relational databases.
- Knowledge of REST APIs, event-driven applications, caching, scaling, security, managed memory architecture, garbage collection, and cache management.
- Knowledge of domain-driven design and event-driven architectures.
