Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a software architect on product design and specification.
- Implement the Artist Tool user interface.
- Develop GraphQL and REST backends.
- Write documentation, playbooks, and tests.
- Identify, debug, and resolve front-end and back-end bugs and performance issues.
- Participate in code reviews.
- Provide sprint-based progress updates.
- Coordinate with distributed teams in different time zones.
Requirements
- 8+ years of non-intern professional software development experience.
- Experience with modern JavaScript and CSS, plus Golang and/or Python.
- Knowledge of relational database management systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent subject, or equivalent work experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Preferred experience with Scrum, GraphQL, Neo4j, MongoDB, Linux, or VFX, feature animation, or games.
