Base Salary
$129k - $193k/yr
Responsibilities
- Contribute to automation and quality engineering strategy initiatives for Subscription platforms.
- Develop, maintain, and execute scalable automation solutions across various ecosystems.
- Support shift-left quality engineering practices through automation-first testing approaches.
- Assist with building dashboards, quality metrics, and observability solutions.
- Collaborate with business, product, engineering, and quality engineering teams.
- Support adoption of modern quality engineering practices including intelligent automation.
- Contribute reusable tools, automation utilities, and testing best practices.
- Support end-to-end subscription testing workflows including authentication and lifecycle management.
- Develop and execute automation using Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, and other tools.
- Execute testing initiatives across multi-device ecosystems.
- Build and maintain automation for native mobile applications and APIs.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and automation infrastructure using various tools.
- Participate in defect triage, root cause analysis, and release readiness activities.
- Partner with globally distributed teams to support continuous delivery.
- Continuously learn and adopt emerging technologies and testing methodologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in Software Development Engineering in Test or Quality Engineering.
- Hands-on programming experience in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Experience with Appium, Selenium, and API automation frameworks.
- Experience testing web, mobile, or consumer-facing applications.
- Familiarity with streaming, media playback, and subscription services.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation strategies.
- Experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Experience with API, backend, and microservices testing.
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
