Base Salary
$177k - $266k/yr
Responsibilities
- Perform in-depth analysis of functional or business requirements.
- Design and develop highly performant and scalable services and libraries using industry standards.
- Play a senior role in design, development, quality, and operations of services owned by the team.
- Drive performance testing strategy and define workflows.
- Develop test scripts and scenarios to meet performance requirements.
- Use agile development methodologies and provide time/resource estimates.
- Participate in on-call rotations.
Requirements
- Bachelor or Master's degree in computer science or equivalent.
- 5+ years of software development experience with proficiency in Java programming.
- Experience developing high-performance, scalable web services using REST and JSON.
- Familiarity with Spring, Spring Boot, and related technologies.
- Proven understanding of SQL and experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
- Hands-on experience in Amazon Web Services at enterprise scale.
- Experience with Python and Go is a plus.
- Track record of monitoring and analyzing system performance.
- Experience executing performance testing for complex, high-throughput systems.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
