Base Salary
$100k - $170k/yr
Responsibilities
- Implement and manage system automation with Ansible and Puppet across RHEL and Windows platforms.
- Deploy, maintain, and optimize Kubernetes clusters using RKE2 and Rancher.
- Operate and manage open-source applications for data processing, storage, identity, monitoring, logging, and collaboration.
- Ensure system performance, reliability, scalability, and security across platforms and technologies.
- Collaborate with technical and non-technical teams to develop solutions aligned with project requirements.
- Maintain documentation covering system configurations, deployments, and operational practices.
- Perform system performance tuning, capacity planning, troubleshooting, and reliability engineering.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least 7 years of hands-on experience managing enterprise Linux and Windows systems.
- Experience with configuration management using Ansible and Puppet.
- Experience operating Kubernetes, with RKE2 and Rancher preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in complex distributed environments.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Active Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain SCI.
- U.S. citizenship and eligibility to work on programs requiring U.S. citizenship.
- A master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Production experience with NiFi, Kafka, Zookeeper, MinIO, Keycloak, Longhorn, Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, Promtail, GitLab, and CI/CD pipelines is preferred.
- Deep understanding of containerization and cloud-native architectures is preferred.
