Responsibilities
- Ensure the availability, stability, health, and operational readiness of JFN systems and resources.
- Develop automated system-health reporting, monitoring, validation, testing, configuration management, and remediation capabilities.
- Design, develop, integrate, and deploy a hybrid container and virtualization platform for enterprise-scale workloads across on-premises and cloud environments.
- Integrate identity and SSO, PKI, DNS, logging and SIEM, monitoring, secrets management, container registry, and artifact repository services.
- Configure and tune container runtimes, CNI/CSI plugins, ingress controllers, service meshes, and cluster networking.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code automation for repeatable and auditable platform deployments.
- Support workload onboarding, GPU-enabled AI/ML computing integration, incident response, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, vulnerability remediation, and continuous compliance monitoring.
- Provide technical mentorship on containerization, virtualization, and cloud-native practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and nine or more years of experience, or a master’s degree and seven or more years, or a PhD or JD and four or more years; experience may substitute for the degree.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud platforms and services.
- Experience with VMware, vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V, and Linux KVM virtualization.
- Experience with Kubernetes distributions such as RKE2, EKS, and K8s.
- Experience with automation, configuration management, system validation, and monitoring tools.
- Experience with Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk, ArgoCD, GitLab Runners, Jenkins, Ansible, Puppet, or Terraform.
- Knowledge of application integration testing and automated testing frameworks.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams, coordinate with application providers, communicate effectively, and report project status to leadership.
- Familiarity with modern IT frameworks and methodologies such as Agile and ITIL.
- U.S. citizenship, an active Top Secret clearance, and IAT Level II certification are required.
