Responsibilities

Design and implement Infrastructure as Code for provisioning, monitoring, scaling, and lifecycle management of NoSQL, streaming, and caching platforms.
Automate repeatable, reliable, self-service deployment of data services across cloud and hybrid environments.
Ensure high availability, scalability, resiliency, and performance of platform data solutions.
Define and enforce SLIs, SLOs, and error margins for data platforms.
Build self-healing systems, automated failover, and autoscaling solutions for databases and streaming platforms.
Develop observability solutions covering metrics, logging, and tracing for Cassandra, Aerospike, Redis, and Kafka/MSK.
Partner with engineering and platform teams to deliver reliable and scalable data services.
Lead critical incident response and root cause analysis, implementing permanent automated fixes.
Apply AI-driven automation approaches such as anomaly detection, predictive scaling, and automated remediation where applicable.
Create operational playbooks and best practices, facilitate knowledge sharing, and mentor junior engineers.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
6+ years of software development and database reliability engineering experience, including at least 3+ years focused on Go and Infrastructure as Code automation.
Deep proficiency in Go and experience designing modular, domain-driven architectures for complex backend services.
Expertise with Terraform and Ansible.
Large-scale operational experience with NoSQL, caching, and streaming platforms, including tuning, repair, backup/recovery, and performance optimization.
Understanding of Linux internals, networking, and storage systems.
Experience deploying and operating stateful workloads on Kubernetes.
Hands-on experience with AWS and/or GCP managed services such as MSK, DynamoDB, and ElastiCache.
Experience building internal developer platforms, self-service infrastructure, or platform-engineering solutions.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, collaboration, mentoring, and peer-influence skills.
Experience using Go for infrastructure automation, control-plane services, or SRE tooling is a plus.
AI/ML and Generative AI experience for infrastructure automation, operations, incident management, observability, or developer productivity is a plus.
Relevant technology certification, such as AWS Certified Database - Specialty, is a plus.
