Responsibilities
- Lead a multidisciplinary team to develop market making software.
- Collaborate with quantitative analysts and stakeholders on market strategies.
- Write simple, extendable, and well-tested code following best practices.
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and team planning.
- Track and mitigate security risks in a timely manner.
- Mentor junior engineers and assist in their professional development.
- Implement and maintain risk controls and decision logging.
- Engage in on-call support and provide excellent customer service.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related discipline.
- 7 or more years of industry experience in an Engineering field.
- Proficient in building services with a modern OOP language.
- Understanding of performance, hardware, and lower-level memory management.
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline tooling and cloud-based infrastructure.
- Knowledge of AWS and infrastructure as code tools like Terraform.
- Experience with relational databases and streaming technologies.
- Ability to document code and designs clearly.
