Responsibilities
- Build and maintain engine/editor plugins and services that integrate AI into game clients and servers.
- Ship performant C++ code by profiling, optimizing, and debugging across various builds.
- Design stable API surfaces for game teams with versioning and telemetry.
- Establish CI/CD for game builds and tools, including artifact packaging and regression suites.
- Automate QA for tooling and in-engine features using test frameworks.
- Implement production LLM integrations with safety and observability features.
- Collaborate with various teams to ensure successful integration across codebases.
- Document patterns and deliver internal training for scalable solutions.
Requirements
- At least five years of experience in modern C++ development with strong fundamentals.
- Experience shipping tools or features in AAA engines, including plugins and build pipelines.
- Familiarity with integrating LLMs or ML services and understanding prompt design.
- Experience with engine-level automated testing and CI processes.
- Proficient in managing large code repositories using Perforce and Git.
- Strong communication skills to translate studio requirements into solutions.
- Ability to write thorough documentation and maintain well-tested code.
