Responsibilities
- Own the system that sets rents, including demand models and pricing recommendations.
- Solve complex data problems related to property management systems.
- Build and maintain the necessary infrastructure using Terraform.
- Develop the orchestration layer for data ingestion and processing.
- Implement observability and alerting for data accuracy.
- Work across the entire technology stack, utilizing Python, Ruby, and Terraform.
- Set standards for AI-assisted engineering practices.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience building and operating production systems.
- Strong proficiency in Python, particularly in serverless or service contexts.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code.
- Fluent in analytical SQL and data modeling with experience in data pipelines.
- Ability to manage and contribute to a large Ruby on Rails codebase.
- Deep knowledge of AWS services including Lambda, S3, and Redshift.
- Experience with machine learning models in production.
