Responsibilities
- Set and drive technical direction for the DAP Repository Flows team
- Make architecture decisions for onboarding and repository/background flows
- Lead the design and delivery of autonomous and scheduled agents built on the Duo Agent Platform
- Design and refine the DAP onboarding experience
- Partner with DAP teams on interfaces, shared patterns, and platform capabilities
- Mentor senior and intermediate engineers and review designs and code
- Resolve the team’s most difficult technical problems and prevent them through sound design
- Contribute to an autonomous, ownership-oriented, high-context, async-first culture
Requirements
- Deep, hands-on production experience with Ruby and Ruby on Rails
- Experience integrating LLMs into products, excluding ML model training
- Experience building autonomous or semi-autonomous agentic systems
- Track record designing and shipping complex, high-scale systems
- Experience driving technical direction across teams
- Strong written communication skills and effectiveness in a distributed, async-first environment
- Staff-level judgment and influence, including setting direction, unblocking others, and multiplying team impact
