Base Salary
$96k - $181k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and develop AI-powered IVR, voice bot, conversational AI, and agentic AI solutions.
- Architect, code, integrate, test, evaluate, optimize, deploy, and support AI-driven applications and services.
- Build Node.js and TypeScript microservices for cloud-native, low-latency voice experiences.
- Develop prompts, workflows, orchestration strategies, AI agents, and multi-agent solutions using Gemini, LangGraph, and LangChain.
- Support call routing, self-service, agent handoffs, voice flows, containment, and escalation scenarios.
- Provide technical mentorship and code review while establishing engineering practices for testing, deployment, observability, resiliency, and production readiness.
- Apply SRE principles and ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements, including PII and PCI considerations.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of software engineering experience, including at least 2 years as a Lead AI Engineer, Lead Engineer, Principal Engineer, or comparable senior technical contributor.
- Strong hands-on experience building and deploying AI-powered applications and services.
- Strong hands-on experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
- Proven experience designing and delivering cloud-native solutions on Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience integrating LLMs, conversational AI platforms, and agentic AI frameworks.
- Understanding of microservices architecture, APIs, and distributed systems.
- Hands-on Kubernetes experience, including GKE cluster setup and platform operations.
- Experience with IVR, voice bots, conversational AI, or contact center technologies.
- Strong collaboration, communication, technical judgment, and problem-solving skills.
- Preferred experience with Gemini, LangGraph, LangChain, AI agents, orchestration workflows, multi-agent solutions, regulated or financial services environments, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, infrastructure as code, and enterprise-scale Agile delivery.
- Preferred experience with AI-assisted coding tools, prompts, and agent-driven workflows through Agentic Vibe Coding.
