Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-performance calculation engines and services for fixed income indices and large-scale financial data.
- Architect and oversee analytics services while balancing latency, throughput, cost, and accuracy.
- Build scalable, reliable, and auditable solutions for critical business and client needs.
- Lead architecture discussions, code reviews, technical best practices, and system modernization initiatives.
- Implement data lineage, reconciliation, anomaly detection, reproducibility, auditability, and version control across analytics models and data inputs and outputs.
- Design, develop, and deploy AI-driven solutions and machine learning models for financial data processing and advanced analytics.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of engineers and quantitative developers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and execute independently across complex financial domains and new technologies.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software development experience with enterprise Java, Java 17/21 or equivalent JVM languages, including concurrency, JVM tuning, and memory management.
- Experience with the Spring ecosystem or comparable enterprise frameworks such as Quarkus, Micronaut, or Jakarta EE.
- Experience designing distributed systems, RESTful APIs, and message-broker integrations.
- Hands-on experience building, deploying, and integrating AI/ML models, generative AI, or AI-driven analytics into enterprise platforms.
- Proficiency with cloud platforms, with deep hands-on AWS experience preferred or required for scalable distributed systems.
- Extensive experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Cassandra.
- Proven expertise in fixed income system design and analytics, with financial services experience preferred.
- Experience with Python or other scripting languages for data processing and automation is preferred.
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift is preferred.
- Experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps and DevOps practices is preferred.
- Familiarity with performance optimization, high-frequency data processing, and AI-augmented software engineering practices is preferred.
