Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Own GovCloud GenAI release quality through test planning, staging validation, regression coverage, release sign-off, and documentation.
- Partner with engineering, security, release management, customer management, and customer-facing teams to deploy changes safely and resolve quality issues.
- Design tests for AI features using output evaluation, guardrails, prompt regression, edge cases, datasets, and repeatable workflows.
- Develop and maintain automated test suites integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
- Use Cursor, Claude, GitHub Copilot, or similar AI-assisted tools for test design, automation, debugging, and documentation while following GovCloud security and privacy requirements.
- Advocate for testability and mentor quality engineers on automation and AI feature testing.
Requirements
- Must reside in the U.S. and hold U.S. Citizenship or a Green Card to meet GovCloud compliance and access requirements.
- Must be based in the greater Washington, DC area.
- At least 5 years of experience in software quality engineering, test automation, or a closely related role.
- Experience testing complex SaaS or enterprise applications at the application and API layers, including REST services and authentication flows.
- Hands-on experience integrating test automation into CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience designing test plans, executing validation, and providing release sign-off for medium-to-large features.
- Experience validating releases in regulated environments and troubleshooting complex issues using staging, logs, APIs, and risk-based judgment.
- Experience writing technical documentation, prioritizing testing by risk, and explaining trade-offs to technical and non-technical partners.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Preferred: experience with FedRAMP, AWS GovCloud, federal agencies or public-sector customers, Playwright, JavaScript/TypeScript, AI/ML/LLM feature testing, and AI-assisted development tools.
