Responsibilities
- Build AI systems that automate collections, credit decisioning, payments operations, and other manual trade workflows.
- Develop reliable, production-grade features using LLMs and agents, including evaluations and guardrails.
- Write high-quality, clean, and performant code and partner with platform and product engineers to ship end-to-end products.
- Collaborate with engineering, design, and product teams to shape the roadmap and solve ambiguous real-world problems.
- Help establish how Nuvo builds with AI as the field and product evolve.
Requirements
- Strong computer science fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience building with modern machine learning or LLMs through coursework, research, internships, or demonstrable projects.
- Good judgment about appropriate AI applications and associated risks.
- A rigorous approach to evaluating output quality.
- Ability to communicate technical solutions and tradeoffs clearly.
- Willingness to work on an early-stage team solving ambiguous problems with a bias for action.
