Responsibilities
- Define and deliver high- and low-level architectures, design blueprints, technology roadmaps, and reusable assets for global products and platforms.
- Own the technology, architecture, and design landscape from solutioning through delivery, operations, adoption, and sale phases.
- Perform hands-on proofs of concept, technical feasibility analyses, build-versus-buy evaluations, vendor product evaluations, and technology research.
- Partner with business, engineering, platform, infosec, product, project, and vendor teams to deliver scalable, reliable, secure, and standards-compliant solutions.
- Provide technical leadership, coaching, mentoring, architecture guidance, code reviews, and design and quality reviews to development teams.
- Support product and project managers with planning, forecasting, estimations, costs, risk, quality, and delivery decisions.
- Develop architecture standards, design guidelines, reusable assets, and practices that promote optimization and consistency.
- Build relationships with business stakeholders, vendors, and industry analysts and communicate recommendations to varied audiences.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Mathematics, or Economics.
- 10+ years of overall IT industry experience and 3+ years in a solution or technical architect role using private or public cloud IaaS, PaaS, or SaaS platforms.
- Proven architecture leadership experience in complex, large-scale, global products or platforms across planning, delivery, support, operations, and adoption.
- Hands-on experience with one or more solution and technical architecture specializations, including application, infrastructure/cloud, integration, data, or security architecture.
- Expertise designing and developing distributed, scalable products and platforms using composable services, containers, hybrid clouds, and cloud IaaS/PaaS/SaaS services.
- Expert-level skills in multiple programming and scripting languages, SQL and NoSQL databases, big data processing, data analytics, machine learning, and authentication and authorization technologies.
- In-depth knowledge of design patterns and architectural styles including traditional applications, microservices, containers, event-driven systems, data streaming, data transformation, and analytics.
- Experience with native cloud, full-stack application, data, security, AI, automation, Agile, and DevSecOps practices.
- Strong collaboration, analytical, interpersonal, communication, organizational, and stakeholder-management abilities.
- Preferred certifications include Microsoft, Microsoft Azure, TOGAF, AWS Cloud Certified, Pivotal, CISSP, Zachman, ITIL, Cisco, ISC2, CEH, SAFe, PMI, or SAP certifications.
- Experience with low-code/no-code, generative AI, data reporting, data management and governance, mobile applications, and deep cloud security concepts is preferred.
- Ability to work with globally distributed and culturally diverse teams, potentially outside normal working hours, and travel domestically or internationally.
Benefits
- Base salary ranges from $120,700 to $225,800 in most US geographic locations and from $144,900 to $256,600 in New York City Metro Area, Washington State, and California excluding Sacramento.

- Hybrid work model for external client-serving roles generally expects 40–60% in-person collaboration over an engagement, project, or year.
- Some domestic and international travel and work outside normal local hours may be required.
