Responsibilities
- Partner with business domain leaders to understand strategy, market opportunities, competitive positioning, and growth targets.
- Lead discovery sessions and translate client, EY, and third-party requirements into managed-services value propositions and architecture roadmaps.
- Design end-to-end managed-services business architectures covering service scope, client experience, processes and controls, technology, governance, lifecycle, SLAs/OLAs, delivery models, and commercial structures.
- Ensure architectures and operational services comply with regulatory, security, controls, risk, quality, independence, and legal requirements, including SOC1 and SOC2 standards.
- Support business cases, revenue projections, cost structures, margin modeling, investment requirements, pricing, packaging, and monetization frameworks.
- Provide architectural leadership during pursuits and client engagements and advise executive leadership and multidisciplinary delivery teams.
- Own and maintain business, process, controls, or technology architecture standards for the applicable domain.
- Drive standardization, automation, continuous improvement, horizon scanning, performance measurement, and architecture repository quality.
- Provide direction, training, and support to process, controls, organizational change, and technology development teams.
- Collaborate with Product, Sales, Delivery, Finance, Technology, Operations, and alliance-partner teams to ensure execution readiness.
Requirements
- A minimum of a bachelor’s-level qualification in Management, Finance, or Accounting for the Business and Service Architecture Lead track.
- A minimum of a bachelor’s-level qualification in Computer Science or Information Technology for the Technology Architecture Lead track.
- At least 10 years of experience managing end-to-end architecture for managed services and/or outsourced solutions for the Business and Service Architecture Lead track.
- At least 10 years of experience with agile, iterative, and conventional development methodologies and their application to platform, transactional application, transaction, and analytical systems development for the Technology Architecture Lead track.
- Proven experience designing and commercializing managed-services offerings and supporting financial models and business cases.
- Strong understanding of business architecture frameworks, including capability modeling, value streams, and operating models.
- Experience across multiple business domains and global or multi-region service delivery models.
- Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, set architecture standards, and drive adoption of enterprise, data, technology, and process architecture tools.
- Clear communication skills for engaging architecture professionals, senior EY leaders, Assurance SMRs, and senior client stakeholders.
- Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF and service-management frameworks such as ITIL.
- TOGAF or another enterprise-architecture certification is preferred for the Business and Service Architecture Lead track.
- Experience building solutions using cloud platforms, ideally Azure, and public SaaS platforms, ideally including SAP, is preferred for the Technology Architecture Lead track.
Benefits
- Base salary is $120,700 to $225,800 across US geographic locations, with a range of $144,900 to $256,600 for New York City Metro Area, Washington State, and California excluding Sacramento.
