Responsibilities
- Lead designs of scalable, backend systems for the AI-native cybersecurity platform.
- Drive complex technical initiatives from 0→1, including system design and implementation.
- Partner with product, AI, security, and platform teams to create technical solutions.
- Lead design discussions and provide technical leadership across engineering domains.
- Identify and address technical risks and operational challenges proactively.
- Improve system observability, reliability, and operational excellence.
- Promote high standards for execution and collaboration within the engineering culture.
- Mentor engineers through technical guidance and hands-on collaboration.
- Adapt to rapidly evolving environments and shifting technical challenges.
Requirements
- 15+ years of professional software engineering experience with distributed systems.
- Proven experience in designing and delivering large-scale cloud-native systems.
- Strong expertise in system design, including distributed systems and APIs.
- Experience leading complex technical projects with significant ambiguity.
- Proficiency in backend programming languages such as Rust, Python, TypeScript, or Go.
- Expertise in building systems on modern cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Strong communication skills for explaining complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Comfortable working with AI-assisted development tools.
