Responsibilities
- Participate in HCSC’s formal internship program and complete assigned project work with guidance from a mentor and manager.
- Analyze data and information, conduct research, and develop recommendations for business decisions.
- Design, test, and implement technical production automation solutions and contribute to database solutions.
- Provide customer support for internally developed applications and processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional business and technical teams and support initiatives improving business and member outcomes.
- Prepare and deliver a final internship presentation to department leadership.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA, Diversity Principles, Corporate Integrity, and applicable compliance policies.
Requirements
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree as a rising senior in computer science, information technology, information management, or another considered major.
- Expected graduation between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
- Knowledge or experience with C#, VB.NET, SQL, and Visual Basic.
- Practical PC skills, especially with Excel, Word, and Access.
- Strong analytical, verbal communication, written communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Available for the full 10-week internship program.
- Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States; sponsorship is not available.
