Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and maintaining Ruby on Rails applications.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code with guidance.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers on real features.
- Participate in code reviews.
- Help troubleshoot and fix bugs in live systems.
- Learn how financial technology products scale and evolve.
Requirements
- Be an incoming junior or senior currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Have familiarity with Ruby on Rails or willingness to learn.
- Have a basic understanding of programming concepts and object-oriented design.
- Exposure to HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL is a plus.
- Have some experience using Git or another version control system.
- Demonstrate problem-solving skills, attention to detail, enthusiasm for learning, and teamwork.
- Exposure to test-driven development, familiarity with Agile development methods, understanding of RESTful APIs, and interest in financial technology are additional pluses.
