Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and deploy software solutions under the guidance of senior technologists.
- Work with large data sets and collaborate with middle- and back-office technologists, researchers, analysts, and project managers.
- Use agentic AI coding tools such as Anthropic’s Claude Code to navigate the codebase, automate test-writing and lint-fixing tasks, and accelerate feature development.
- Communicate ideas to a broader audience and incorporate feedback into collaborative work.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program focused on computer science or an adjacent field.
- Expected graduation between April 2024 and August 2026.
- Excellent C++ programming and software design skills.
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming, and foundational computer science concepts.
- Exposure to TCP/IP network programming and multithreaded applications.
- Curiosity, discipline, initiative, and willingness to ask questions and learn new ideas.
- Preferred: knowledge of data pipelines, relational databases, data storage, and Linux.
- Preferred: prior internship experience in data engineering or software development.
- Preferred: familiarity with foundational AI/ML frameworks or terminal-based AI assistants such as Claude Code, including use with Git workflows.
