Responsibilities
- Support the design, development, testing, and maintenance of software applications and solutions.
- Write, review, and troubleshoot code with a primary focus on Java-based development.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and other software development lifecycle activities.
- Assist with identifying and resolving software defects and technical issues.
- Collaborate with Software Engineers, Product Managers, and technology partners to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Contribute to scalable, reliable, and maintainable software solutions.
- Participate in team meetings, technical discussions, and project planning activities.
- Provide research and analysis support on ad hoc projects and complete assignments set by team leaders.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program focused on Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field, with anticipated graduation in 2028.
- Foundational programming knowledge and experience with Java through coursework, projects, or prior experience.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and software development fundamentals.
- Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, analytical, communication, collaboration, and learning skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, multitask, and approach technical problems with curiosity and persistence.
- Prior internship, technical project, or software development experience is highly preferred.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with Git or other source control tools is highly preferred.
- Exposure to APIs, databases, SQL, cloud technologies, web application development, automated testing, debugging tools, or software testing concepts is highly preferred.
- Exposure to Agile or Scrum environments and experience with additional programming languages or technologies are highly preferred.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
