Responsibilities
- Assist with developing, integrating, testing, and maintaining existing and new applications.
- Complete entry-level programming tasks and implement changes to relational databases.
- Verify system corrections using test applications and initiate and monitor defect resolutions.
- Own assigned project components and deliverables with guidance from a mentor and manager.
- Conduct research, analyze data, and develop recommendations for business decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support departmental initiatives.
- Prepare and deliver a final internship presentation to department leadership.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and applicable company compliance policies.
Requirements
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree, preferably in computer science, computer information systems, or math; other majors may be considered.
- Be a rising senior graduating between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
- Familiarity with one or more programming languages, application and software design patterns, database management systems, and development methodologies or delivery models.
- Awareness of reporting tools and the role of data in business decision-making.
- Basic SQL knowledge and practical PC skills, especially Excel, Word, and Access.
- Strong analytical, verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Previous internship experience is preferred.
- Available for the full ten-week program.
