Base Salary
$37k - $82k/yr
Responsibilities
- Support requirements decomposition and derivation to produce software requirements.
- Participate in software capability design using UML and SysML diagrams.
- Develop and deliver high-quality mission-critical software.
- Participate in code and related-artifact peer reviews.
- Create test cases and tests while collaborating with software engineers, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, architects, and other teams.
Requirements
- Must be actively pursuing a bachelor’s or advanced degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related STEM major through completion of the internship/co-op session.
- Must have a good foundation in object-oriented programming and Java, obtained through work experience, research, coursework, or projects.
- U.S. citizenship is required because the role requires the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.
- An active and existing DoD Secret security clearance is required after day one.
- Preferred qualifications include knowledge of UML, SysML, MBSE, CAMEO, requirements analysis and derivation, virtualization, microservices, containers, orchestrators, CI/CD, Agile SDLC, and Java GUI frameworks.
