Base Salary
$69k - $142k/yr
Responsibilities
- Convert algorithm definitions and prototypes into robust software applications.
- Collaborate with radar, electro-optical, and research scientist experts to resolve issues and improve product image quality.
- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable software applications.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code using applicable best practices and coding standards.
- Learn synthetic aperture radar and electro-optical collection techniques.
- Participate in planning, requirements development, software design, implementation, build, documentation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Complete software development tasks independently while contributing to large software development packages.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI U.S. Government security clearance.
- 3–5 years of software engineering experience.
- Bachelor’s-level degree in computer science, electrical engineering, physics, or a related field, or four years of professional software or signals-processing experience in lieu of a degree, or a military background in electronic warfare and/or signals processing.
- Familiarity with a programming language, preferably Python, C++, Rust, or a similar language.
- Familiarity with Linux development and/or cloud environments, with AWS preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Interest in remote-sensing technologies and ability to work onsite.
- Multiple programming languages, radar or electro-optical experience, academic digital signal processing experience, Jira experience, Scrum/Agile development knowledge, and software experience implementing algorithms are desired.
