Base Salary
$207k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement personalized user models, neural retrieval models, ranking and scoring models, clustering models, and LLM-based retrieval-augmented generation models.
- Build user and content clustering models for personalization and ranking use cases.
- Improve model performance and personalization precision and recall through advanced modeling, feature engineering, parameter tuning, and label quality engineering.
- Scale models across content, queries, videos, notifications, retrieval, ranking, content generation, and diversification use cases.
- Create real-time ML models and scale model training and serving to billions of users.
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions while managing project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Eight years of experience in software development.
- Five years of experience building and deploying production recommendation system models, including retrieval, prediction, ranking, and embedding models.
- Five years of experience with ML design and infrastructure, including model deployment, evaluation, data processing, debugging, and fine-tuning.
- Five years of experience testing and launching software products and three years of experience with software design and architecture.
- Preferred: eight years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Preferred: six years of ML or quality experience working on recommendation systems.
- Preferred: experience with recommender systems, clustering algorithms, SQL, deep models, C++, Dremel/F1, and TensorFlow.
- Preferred: experience working with research and driving quality projects from design through implementation and launch.
Benefits
- US base salary of $207000 - $300000, plus a 20% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
