Base Salary
$185k - $265k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead hands-on development and migration to a Temporal workflow-as-code platform using replay-safe and idempotent workflows.
- Build a stateful management plane that models the global fleet as an eventually consistent distributed system.
- Design services using LLMs and ML for signal correlation, automated triage, and self-correcting fleet operations.
- Develop framework-level services and internal APIs that make products orchestration-ready with embedded reliability hooks.
- Implement metrics, traces, and events so fleet-wide actions are explainable, auditable, and replayable.
- Lead infrastructure transformation and develop self-healing and AI-driven SRE capabilities for a global fleet of more than 100,000 instances.
Requirements
- BS or MS in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- 12+ years of experience in hyperscale systems.
- Mastery of backend systems languages, with a strong preference for Go; deep expertise in Java, C++, or Python may qualify with the ability to rapidly adopt Go.
- Strong experience designing and operating complex distributed systems, including concurrency, failure handling, and performance optimization.
- Proven experience developing platform APIs using REST or gRPC with idempotency, verification, and safe rollout guarantees.
- Foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies and experience leveraging, securing, or positioning AI-driven solutions within the functional domain.
- Preferred: proficiency with Cursor or Windsurf.
- Preferred: proficiency with PostgreSQL or other relational stores for high-scale, stateful management-plane services.
- Preferred: experience building or operating systems with Temporal.io, Cadence, or similar workflow engines.
