Base Salary
$125k - $220k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support high-performance, scalable cloud systems and services.
- Collaborate with service development, product management, and support teams to maintain scalable, supportable, and available services.
- Resolve customer issues quickly to improve response times and customer satisfaction.
- Evaluate open-source technologies, select appropriate solutions, and contribute ideas to the open-source community.
- Build automated test infrastructure and CI/CD integration for the core system.
Requirements
- 10+ years of relevant industry experience.
- Experience with data packet and flow-based forwarding, firewalls, and tunneling protocols.
- Experience with one or more of VPP, OFP, or Quagga; OVS experience is a plus.
- Experience building IaaS, PaaS, or SaaS cloud products.
- Knowledge of network and application firewall technologies including NAT, IPsec, and IPS.
- Knowledge of virtualization, NFVs, VMs, containers, and Kubernetes is a plus.
- Knowledge of CI/CD, Jenkins, or Spinnaker.
- Strong C/C++ and Linux programming skills, including data structures, auto-scaling, and performance.
- Experience programming with Python.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- BSCS or equivalent required; MSCS or equivalent strongly preferred.
