Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for Kubernetes clusters, Port.io platform services, and Argo DevSecOps environments.
- Monitor platform health and performance using Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana, and Kibana.
- Troubleshoot networking, storage, security, container, and application deployment issues within Kubernetes.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to improve platform stability and automate maintenance tasks.
- Manage Helm charts, Argo CD, Flux CD, YAML configurations, deployment artifacts, and GitLab CI runners.
- Develop support documentation and troubleshooting guides, resolve incidents, communicate with stakeholders, and participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation.
Requirements
- Proven experience managing and supporting Kubernetes clusters in production cloud and on-premises environments.
- Familiarity with Port.io or similar platform services and cloud-native technologies.
- Strong understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker.
- Proficiency writing and debugging Helm charts and Kubernetes manifests.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation tools including Jenkins, ArgoCD, and GitLab CI.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools including Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana, Kibana, or the ELK stack.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in networking, Linux systems, and distributed systems.
- Familiarity with Bash or Python for automation.
- Preferred qualifications include AWS or Azure experience, Kubernetes certification such as CKA, Kubernetes security knowledge, and VMware experience.
