Base Salary
$103k - $134k/yr
Responsibilities
- Analyze requirements and produce comprehensive test strategies and detailed test cases.
- Design and implement manual and automated tests at unit, component, integration, and end-to-end levels.
- Build and enhance scalable automation frameworks for feature testing and AI-driven product workflows.
- Develop and maintain UI and API automation using Selenium, pytest, and Playwright.
- Conduct performance and load testing using tools such as Locust.
- Build test reports with reporting tools such as Allure.
- Report regressions to development teams and provide feedback on design documents and testability.
- Collaborate with engineers, product management, UX, and other members of autonomous cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of experience as an SDET, QA Engineer, or equivalent.
- Strong proficiency in Python and JavaScript for test automation.
- Practical experience with pytest, Selenium, and Playwright.
- Experience developing or enhancing automation frameworks for UI, API, component, and unit testing.
- Experience with Git and CI/CD systems such as GitLab CI or Jenkins.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle and testing pyramid concepts.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Unix/Linux/Mac OS development environments, Bash, and complex SQL queries.
- Understanding of microservices-based web applications across frontend, backend, and database layers.
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
- Experience with Locust, AI products with non-deterministic behavior, PowerShell, Ansible playbooks, GCP, and Azure is preferred or a plus.
