Base Salary

$168k - $250k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design and build end-to-end distributed systems serving millions of advertisers across global marketplaces.
  • Partner with Applied Scientists to productionize models through serving infrastructure, training pipelines, feature stores, and evaluation frameworks.
  • Design multilingual, multimodal, and globally scalable advertising systems for international markets.
  • Establish reliability, observability, deployment, availability, and performance practices.
  • Mentor engineers, lead design reviews, and help shape engineering culture.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • 5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language.
  • 5+ years leading the design or architecture of new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
  • Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or engineering team lead.
  • Preferred: 5+ years covering the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Preferred: bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
