Responsibilities
- Develop value-adding customer features for the Payment & Basket Platform.
- Create maintainable solutions following Clean Code principles.
- Own team services from requirements analysis through operation and embrace DevOps responsibilities.
- Make architectural decisions supporting high performance, robustness, and maintainability during the transition from on-premise to cloud infrastructure.
- Design and integrate APIs and fault-tolerant microservices.
- Automate recurring support solutions in code.
- Share knowledge, assist colleagues, and contribute to team development.
- Operate and monitor business-critical services.
- Support a constructive and collaborative team culture.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience working with Kotlin.
- Experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript or TypeScript, and React.
- Strong backend experience with Node.js, Express, and Spring Boot.
- Extensive experience in API design and RESTful microservices integration.
- Experience with SQL databases including PostgreSQL and MySQL, and NoSQL databases including MongoDB.
- Knowledge of Git and cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of payment gateway integrations such as Stripe and PayPal.
- Familiarity with web application performance optimization.
- Experience with object-oriented programming languages, preferably Java.
- Practical experience with GitOps tools including Terraform, Helm, and Flux, plus Kubernetes.
- Experience monitoring services with Grafana, Prometheus, and Kibana.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture, design patterns, testing strategies, and web application security practices.
- Ability to adapt to rapidly changing technologies and methodologies.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
