Base Salary
$220k - $405k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and own growth surfaces across activation, onboarding, SEO, lifecycle, conversion, retention, and paid upgrade moments.
- Lead end-to-end experiments, including hypothesis development, instrumentation, implementation, analysis, and rollout.
- Build applied AI systems such as high-intent classifiers, personalization, and AI-driven onboarding and recommendation surfaces.
- Launch vertical-specific experiences for audiences such as students and enterprise organizations.
- Optimize activation, paid conversion, retention, and habit formation using clean data and experiment readouts.
- Partner with Product, Design, Data Science, Monetization, Marketing, and Applied AI teams to turn behavioral signals and model outputs into product surfaces.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of professional software engineering experience; strong junior and mid-level candidates with a record of shipping are considered.
- Full-stack engineering skills across Next.js, React, TypeScript, and Python.
- Ability to execute and ship multiple experiments and product improvements in parallel.
- Familiarity with A/B testing and experimentation platforms such as Eppo, Statsig, Optimizely, or equivalent tools.
- Comfort with SQL and data-informed funnel analysis.
- Strong product judgment, ownership, self-direction, and interest in AI products.
- Preferred qualifications include growth, activation, conversion, retention, lifecycle, SEO, billing, paid acquisition, consumer or enterprise product, startup, ML model, or mobile development experience.
